<image:title>About - My name is Fiona, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) (which is really just a fancy way of saying I’m a therapist)</image:title>
<image:caption>My counseling approach is holistic, emotion focused, and informed through an attachment-based perspective, where relationship building, communication, and emotional expression lie at the foundation. I believe in creating an environment where you can feel safe and comfortable in sharing, exploring, and finding yourself, while providing you with ongoing support and guidance to work towards your goals and desired change. Throughout my work, I consider all aspects of life to be important, worthy, and influential to your journey towards growth, as we are all shaped by so much in our environments, relationships, and culture. This is what makes us who we are. As a therapist I hold a safe and compassionate space for each client, so that you feel held and supported in a way that allows you to create your own profound transformation. All people are capable of change. Through my Education I received a Master's degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. My previous occupations have included community mental health centers, non-profits, schools, clinical day treatment centers, and national crisis support centers. I’ve worked with a range of clients presenting with various experiences, ages, and symptoms relating to anxiety, worry, depression, trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, sexual orientation, eating disorders, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, school and academic stress, adjusting to change, family conflict, relationship issues, divorce/ separation, polyamory, LGBTQ+ and more.</image:caption>

<image:title>Services - Individual</image:title>
<image:caption>We’ve all been there. Stressed, overwhelmed, uncertain. For some of us this is best described as anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, shame, or loneliness. For others the words might be isolation, guilt, disconnection, jealousy, or distraction. Regardless of the words we use, the feelings behind the words are felt universally. Together we can work through these definitions to reach farther in finding the underlying emotions and collaboratively process your true desires, values, and goals.</image:caption>

<image:caption>With so many personalities under one roof, the daily stressors and challenges can feel daunting, overwhelming, and chaotic. The kids are getting older and their opinions stronger, whether that leads to fights or fears, change is inevitable and can be hard on everyone. Together we can work on redefining your relationships as they shift, find new ways of understanding each other, and boost communication skills so that you can spend more time on the things that matter to you.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Going to school can be an exciting, yet overwhelming experience. Being in a new place, moving away from home, meeting lots of new people, struggling to meet people, new schedules, distance learning etc. All of these new things can bring a mix of emotions ranging from anxiety to excitement. Let’s work together to sort through the chaos and join forces on orienting yourself to your new surroundings and environment.</image:caption>
